Who or what provides the most gratitude for you? And how or why?

"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend."

There are so many people and things that provide me with gratitude. I'll just do a couple of the hundred of things. Music brings me gratitude because it has shaped me into the person that I am today. Music is always there when I need something to cheer me up. Through music, I have met so many amazing people whether it be in North Muskegon Choir, my church choir and many more. Music has bonded me with so many people. Without music I wouldn't be the person I am today. Everyone in our choir provides me with gratitude because I am able to see everyone's amazing smile every morning. Many times the only reason I come to school is to come to choir. Although I don't particularly have someone who I am really close to in choir, I still am able to be myself and it has helped me through a lot. Just seeing everyone's smile and hearing the beautiful musical bond that we have is amazing. My mom would definitely provide me the most gratitude because she is always by my side even when I don't deserve it. She is always there to pick me up once I have fallen.

Music and my dad provide the most gratitude for me. The reason music does is because I know I can always turn my music on and just escape whenever I need to refind myself or figure things out, it is always there for me, especially when I don’t want to socialize or I need to focus on my work or task at hand and get it done. My dad provides me with the most gratitude because he is always there when I need him. No matter the circumstance he knows what to say to me to either calm me down or cheer me up.

There are many things that bring me gratitude. One of them is music, I find music very comforting and helps me at many times in my life. Music has helped me get through stress, helped me think, and helped me through times in life when I am confused or having a hard time. Music is a way to express feelings and when you listen to it you can almost hear the expression of the singer. Sometimes I find myself relating to the expression of the singer. Music is always there for me. and has brought me much peace, comfort, clarity and joy.

Music brings me gratitude. I can always just turn it on and zone out and just calm down and figure things out. It helps me to do my work, it makes me happy just listening to it. I can just play music and have fun and just forget about everything I'm stressing out about and relax.

This year, my mom has helped me find gratitude in my life. She has such a great perspective on life, and talking with her can help me change my views on things in my own life that are stressful to me. Having a person like her in my life has helped me to see things in a different light and I have begun to be more grateful for simple things. She is always there for me and is always by my side. This year could not have been possible without her.

My family has helped me out so much this year and I am very grateful for them. They have provided me with loving support and are always there when I need them. My sister does a great job at always making me laugh when I am sad or in a bad mood. Even though sometimes we fight or I get stressed about something in school, she always reminds me to just try my best and relieves all the stress away. My parents especially have helped me a lot this school year by always being encouraging and wanting what is best for me. I am grateful for my family for all they have done throughout the year that has had a major affect on my life and for always being understanding. The choir family also provides a huge amount of gratitude for me. I love having choir first hour because it brightens my spirit and enhances my mood, which allows me to have a better day. I know that there will always be someone looking out for me in choir and it is an amazing feeling knowing that someone will always have your back and will support you through your hardest times. I want to thank everyone who has helped and affected my life in an optimistic way and I am very grateful to have such wonderful people in my life.

The biggest thing that brings me gratitude in my life is music. Not just the choir related things, but the music I listen to for my own enjoyment. It's probably safe to say that without a few artists, I would be a lot different than I am now, a lot angrier, a lot sadder, and a lot more reserved than I am now. Music allows me to be comfortable with myself and how I am, without it I could never have been.

Gratitude is something that every situation resurfaces. No matter how much of a mess you find yourself in, there is always a reason to show Gratitude. We tend to naturally show gratitude after receiving a gift, which is a good thing, but we really need to open our minds enough to appreciate, and give thanks to more than just gifts. As I said, we should show gratitude even in the ugliest of situations, because after every loss, and after every failure, a lesson is learned. The trial and error process is vital to all living things. You try until you succeed, it is instinctive in a way. But after each failure, you have something to be thankful for. Showing gratitude goes even to the lowest and most pain-in-the-butt things. After all we should be thinking this way "I should be thankful for the taxes i pay because that means I am employed. I should be thankful for the clothes that fit a little too tight, because it means I have enough to eat. I should be happy for the yard that has to be mowed, the carpet that needs to be vacuumed, and the pans that need to be washed because that means i have a home." So overall I am saying that my provider of gratitude is life, and all of the chances it grants me. Even though some are terrible, even though some seem like the end of the world, we all have something to be thankful for. And that gratitude makes a person more human.

I think the person that i have the most gratitude for is my mom. No matter how far off track I get or how many times I may disobey her, I still know that no matter what she will be there for me and that's something I think everyone should have. Someone who is always there for them no matter what. Having someone in your life that can help you out whenever you need it, definitely helps out in tons of situations. Having my mom there for me and knowing she loves me helps me everyday and any day that I may be having a bad day. I know that I can always go to my mom for anything and that's something I have much gratitude for.

I have a multitude of things that I am grateful for in my life. The thing that I feel the most grateful for as of late, has been my friends, old and new alike. The way that I see it, friends are the family that you get to choose. My friends function as my life preserver. They keep me afloat through stress and hardships, through the best of times and the worst of times. I often feel that I do not thank them enough or let them know just how much they are appreciated, so thank you for asking this question. It's a good reminder for me that I should let my friends know how much they mean to me.

She's the best friend I've ever had and tolerates me on all types of days I have. Sometimes I fear she doesn't understand how much I appreciate her, so I offer an "I appreciate you" instead of an "I love you." I value all of her affections, criticism, and all of her hard work. I'm very lucky and I'm thankful for her everyday.

Some things that provide me with gratitude are My mom and Music. Music especially provides me with gratitude by the way it cheers me up and helps to enlighten my day. I know that I will always be able to rely on Music because it is one of the few things in this world that cannot get up and walk away from you when you need it the most. On the other hand, my mom provides me with ample gratitude and support. She always has a keen smile across her face and an open hand, willing to guide and support me through the peaks and valleys of life. These are just two of the many things that provide me with gratitude.

Most everything I have to say about gratitude ends up sounding very stereotypical, but here it goes. First off i'm very grateful for new technologies and inventions. If you think about it, many many people had to live without toilet paper, cool innovative computers, soft beds, or even great updated schools, and some kids still don't. I'm grateful for glasses/contacts because to think of the people a long time ago who just couldn't see and didn't know why? That would stink. I'm also very grateful for my twin molly. Believe me I love all my family and friends, but molly seriously keeps my life in order. She's my personal therapist, best friend, room-mate, and overall she reminds me how much I need to keep focus as well as have fun. I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head who could see me 24/7 and still not get sick of me haha. (If you hadn't noticed I could go on forever about her). I almost feel bad for people who don't have a twin, because even though I have to share my birthday cake, I couldn't imagine life without her. Lastly I would like to end with something that I often take for granted, but am super grateful for. I'm so happy I can go to a church and worship freely. Because of God I'm never alone. I'm never lost. I can feel bad but I know it'll be okay. For these reasons I am truly blessed. God inspires me to always be kind to others, and that is a huge part of my life. He helps me to put myself in others' shoes, and realize there's a bigger picture here, and it's not all about me ahaha.

Gratitude is a funny thing, gratitude is not brought forth by happiness. Gratitude in my life has comes before happiness. So in my life I have gratitude for simply being happy, to have the ability to go to school and come home and not have to worry where my next meal is coming from. The ability to smile everyday from true happiness, not just smile to hide what is really going on in my life.

I am grateful and very thankful that I can wake up every day with a roof over my head. I am grateful that I go to school to learn and that I can get up and be able to do things by myself. I am grateful that I can walk, run, speak, jump... many people do not have these privileges because they are born with it or it is caused later on in their life. I am grateful for my friends because I can laugh around them and love life. I am so so so thankful for my family (including my dogs). They are so amazing and I would do anything for them.

Some of the people I'm most grateful to are my parents. They can be irritating sometimes but overall they are some of the best parents I know. They support me in everything that I do both emotionally and financially. If there's anything that I need or that would help me succeed, they get it for me because they trust and believe in me. They also are able to let go of me so that I can do better. I have spent a lot of time in host families because of skating and they never once held me back. They are also allowing and paying for me to go away and train next year in Milwaukee. Even though they will miss me, they want me to go because they know it is important to me. My mom also takes me everywhere I need to go on the week days whether it's a workout at a gym by the mall or a rink in Grand Rapids or Lansing. My dad knows that I have wanderlust and love traveling so he takes me with him to all these cool places. We have become PADI scuba certified divers and dived in some of the best dive sites in the world and also have visited castles in Europe to name a few of the amazing experiences we have shared.

My sister Morgan provides me the most gratitude. She is constantly setting high goals for me to achieve. Without her I wouldn't be were I am today as a person or as a student. She inspires me to follow my dream, no matter what, she pushes me to work hard everyday. Morgan has been there since day one and constantly reminds me that she will forever stay there, the light at the end of my very long tunnel. And for her existence I am always grateful!

My friends and music provide me with the most gratitude. This year has been kind of stressful dealing with college and my future but my friends make it better by making me laugh and taking the time to listen to me when I need it most. Music makes me feel good all around and helps soothe me with words I could never express myself. It also makes getting through the day much easier.

I have the most gratitude for the many wonderful people in my life. They always push me to do my best and are always there for me. I am fortunate to have so many great people who look out for me because some children my age are not as lucky as I am to even have one person to look out for them.

I know I'm a little late on this thing because it always slips my mind. The thing that makes me most grateful is the people I am surrounded by everyday. Seeing what other people can accomplish in their day helps me want to do the same and push myself to do my best each day.

My mom gives me the most gratitude because she knows what I go through and is like a best friend to me, she helps pay the bills and with what my parents are going through right now she is staying strong for me and my brother. She stands up for me, sometimes, she loves me and takes care of me when I'm sick. She takes so much care of me and my brother, that when she gets sick and needs to be taken care of me and my brother do just that. I am grateful for my dad also, he cares about me and my brother just as much as my mom. When he gets sick he still manages to take care of me and my brother. He picks us up from school even when he only gets 3 hours of sleep for work, he is a third shift worker, and he cooks dinner for us and helps us with our homework. I am very grateful for my parents they help me in so many ways and stand by me when needed and if I haven't said it yet I want to say thanks to my parents, they probably won't see this but I still want to say thanks.

Music provides the most gratitude for me. Because music is always there. I can always count on music. You can't always count on people because when you need them most they are nowhere to be found. Music is like my shoulder to cry on. When I'm having a bad day, I go and listen to music. When I'm having a good day, I listen to music. Music gets me through life. I can't say music understands me because it is not a person, but I understand it. I don't think that i could go a day without it. It has made me who I am today and I wouldn't be the same without it.

The people who has provided me with the most gratitude would have to be some friends that I used to work with. When people say that you will most likely find your best friends out of high school, either at college or a job, usually you don't believe them. But I can honestly say that I have found people that I can trust with my life, and I know that they will support me through anything and will always be by my side.

After thinking for awhile on who has provided me with the most gratitude, I would definitely say Matilda. She doesn't live here anymore because she's gone home to Sweden, but she has never stopped supporting me with everything I do, and I couldn't have asked for a better best friend in my life. Even though we were only together for less than a year, I have never been able to say I have a legitimate friend like her to be with me every step of the way. I could not be more grateful for the memories we've made and the ones that are still to come.

I would say my family provides the most gratitude for me. They simply remind me that any problems I'm going through are not that large in the scale of things and that I will laugh about them later on, which helps me move on or get over the problem better. I'm not really sure how it helps me, but I know it does.

My parents provide me with the most gratitude because of the opportunities that the cut out for me. They put me up on a pedistal they built knowing I'll do great things to make them proud. They push through difficulty and struggle and put the family before any one person including themselves. I'm thankful for that.
